ABOUT ACHILLE CASTIGLIONI
Renowned Italian industrial designer Achille Castiglioni studied architecture at the Politecnico di Milano University. Alongside his brothers, Castiglinoi set up a design office in 1944. Between 1955 and 1989, Castiglioni earned an impressive nine Compasso d’Oro awards. The genius of Castiglioni’s inventive imagination is in his ability to use the minimal amount of materials while creating forms with a maximum effect. Many of his designs are in many museums around the world
